What is Botox and how long do the results last?

Botox is a neurotoxin injectable used to soften the appearance of facial wrinkles by temporarily relaxing the underlying muscles. At The Fort Lauderdale MedSpa, it is administered by licensed providers as part of our injectable services. Results are temporary and individual results vary; generally, cosmetic neurotoxin results last about three to four months before a touch-up is considered. What do dermal fillers do?

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments used to restore volume and smooth the appearance of certain facial areas. At The Fort Lauderdale MedSpa, fillers are performed by our licensed providers, and we also offer related injectables such as Sculptra and Skinvive. Because every face is unique, your provider will discuss appropriate options and expectations at your consultation, and results vary.

Who performs treatments, and how is candidacy determined?

Treatments at The Fort Lauderdale MedSpa are performed by licensed providers, including Caroline Dondi Lambrechts, APRN, a board-certified nurse practitioner and our Founder and Aesthetic Injector, and Dr. Lisa Learn, DO, a board-certified plastic surgeon serving as Medical Director. Candidacy depends on your individual health, goals, and medical history, which is why a consultation is required before any treatment. Your provider will determine whether a treatment is appropriate for you, and individual results vary.

Pricing depends on the treatment, as neurotoxins like Botox and Dysport are typically priced per unit while other services may be priced per area or per session. Because every plan is personalized, you will receive an exact quote during your consultation so your cost reflects the specific treatment and amount right for your goals.

Does insurance cover treatments, and do you offer financing?

Cosmetic and aesthetic treatments are elective and are generally not covered by insurance.
